The story of Marwick began at the corner of Market and Fenwick Streets in Lowell, Massachusetts, where George Behrakis grew up in tenement housing. Years later, he came back to the neighborhood, and was amazed to see the tenements redevelopment as a mixed-use building, and how this redevelopment transformed the neighborhood. The Marwick brand pays homage to this history of transformative real estate and recognizes the impact real estate can have on communities.
